I went to this school and it was very underwhelming. It didn't prepare for High School whatsoever. I went K-8 and didnt experience one year of good solid learning. If you want to prepare your child for HS do not send them here it's a joke.
Don't make the same mistake. Accokeek Academy is less than a mile away but its more advanced by years.
What a bad decision on my part to send my son to this school. Patients is not practiced at this school. The K4 teacher Ms. G. fail to control her classroom and students. She will smile at you during morning drop off but it's not genuine, it almost feels like she has been instructed to do so. The school lake modern technology, as though it is stuck in the past. No smart board. It was ok for us because we are a techno family. But if you are looking for that exposure at school. St. Mary's is not the school.
